Dinosaur Interrupts Street Evangelist Preaching the Gospel in Downtown Tampa (VIDEO)
Tuesday afternoon in downtown Tampa, a street evangelist preached to passersby on the sidewalk. That's not so newsworthy until I mention the fact that there was a Tyrannosaurus Rex prowling and roaring right next to him. Okay, it was a human in a T. Rex costume.
As the evangelist projects his message through his wearable mic and amplifier, the T-Rex growls and roars to the amusement of the bystanders who capture the scene on their phones (some vertically, sigh).
Whoever was playing the part of the dino is serious about their costumes. That particular "Baby T-Rex" model costs $10,000.
I'm curious to see how this will play out. I'm sure the evangelist will be back to the corner again. Will the reptile return? And how do the police feel about all of this surely unauthorized amplification in a public space?
