'Dragon Ball FighterZ' News: Several New Screenshots Preview Nappa and Ginyu's Abilities

Both Nappa and Ginyu can be aided by special characters during battles

Nappa and Ginyu were announced just recently as roster members of "Dragon Ball FighterZ." And now, new screenshots point to what kinds of abilities they will have in the upcoming fighting game.

The new screenshots of the two characters were shared by the developers over on Facebook, and they indicate that both Nappa and Ginyu are going to be capable of some interesting things.

Beginning with Nappa, one of the screenshots showed him with two of his fingers up in the air as an explosion engulfed his opponent. In all likelihood, that screenshot confirms that he will be able to use the Exploding Wave technique in the game.

Back when Nappa was first announced, it was also revealed that he will be able to use the technique known as Kappa and this involved him firing off a massive beam of destructive energy directly from his mouth, Gematsu reported.

Interestingly enough, one of Nappa's special moves inside "Dragon Ball FighterZ" does not involve him actually attacking his opponent. Instead, it looks like he will be able to summon a Saibaman to attack his opponent.

As for Ginyu, he too will be able to call for help during a match.

The characters who can lend some help to Ginyu are stronger than the Saibamen, however, and they are Burter, Guldo, Jeice and Recoome, better known as the members of the Ginyu Force.

Ginyu is capable of holding his own in battle too, and he can also use his trademark technique known as the Body Switch. It is still unclear how exactly Ginyu's Body Switch will work inside the game, so fans will have to stay tuned to find out more about that.

More details about Nappa, Ginyu and any other characters that may be added to the game should be made available soon.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is expected to be released in North America sometime in February.
