Duggar Family '19 Kids and Counting' News: Update on Jill Duggar Pregnancy and Jessa Duggar's Engagement

Jill and Derick Dillard are expecting their first baby this coming March. The couple shared the good news by posting a photo on Instagram on Aug. 20. The picture shows Jill embracing Derick while he holds a tiny pair of baby shoes.

"We're expecting! So grateful to God for this little blessing! #babydilly #firsttimeparents #sogratefultoGod #derickdillard," she captioned the photo.

The pregnancy announcement comes two months after the couple got married on June 21. Jill has also made no secret about their plans to have a big family, similar to her own.

"We got pregnant a little less than two weeks after we got married. We want to leave it up to God to see how many children we have— whether it's 2 or 20," said Jill.

Meanwhile, Jessa is currently busy with preparations for her wedding to Ben Seewald. The couple got engaged on Aug. 14, and Seewald guided Jessa through an elaborate scavenger hunt which culminated in a romantic proposal, according to the family's official blog.

The hunt started with Seewald giving her an iPad with a video recorded message.

"This is the first clue to the rest of your life," he said in the message.

Jessa had to get a hole in one in a miniature golf course, collect a dozen roses from strangers in a park, take a trolley tour while filling out a quiz, and ride in a train with other members of her family before the final clue led her to Thorncrown Chapel.

Inside the church, Seewald got down on one knee and presented her with a diamond ring.

According to Inquisitr, the couple scheduled their wedding date for Nov. 1, 2014. The short engagement is atypical of the Duggar clan, as according to them, an engagement should be only long enough to successfully plan a wedding.

Jessa also discussed her wedding plans with People Magazine, saying that her wedding will be very similar to Jill's wedding to cut down on time and expense.

"I think my wedding might be similar to Jill's in a lot of ways. I don't want to spend a whole bunch of money and buy a new set of decorations. We will save that money for the honeymoon," said Jessa.
