Elizabeth Smart Shares How The Power of Faith Helped Her Escape and Live Peacefully Today

This beautiful woman, Elizabeth Smart, was kidnapped and lived through something truly horrifying. At a young age she was kidnapped by a man for nine months before being rescued. Her faith and love for God got her through the scariest moment of her life.

After being kidnapped, Elizabeth was chained, raped, and treated horribly by a man. Most people in this case would question God, and maybe even lose their faith. But, Elizabeth is speaking out to tell us all that it was her faith in Jesus that got her through this kidnapping. It was certainly not easy to go through something as terrifying as this and come away OK.

God bless her for sharing such a bone chilling story, and proving that the power of Jesus is strong in all cases and scenarios.
