Evelyn Lozada's 911 Call Released, Neighbor In Fear of Johnson?

Evelyn Lozada, "Basketball Wives" star, made headlines recently when her new NFL player husband Chad Johnson allegedly head-butted her, and now police have released the 911 call made by the wide receiver's neighbor that brought police to the scene.

In the emergency call released by the Broward Sheriff's Office and Davie Police Department, Johnson's neighbor is heard speaking to the dispatcher while trying to calm 36-year-old Lozada down. He was alerted to the disturbance after he found her standing outside his home. In the call he describes the situation to the dispatcher as "a little domestic dispute" that took place 30 minutes prior to the call.

While the neighbor said he believes the dispute was a misunderstanding, he also spoke about being worried how Johnson would react in the aftermath of the incident.

"I have somebody here at my house that was in a little domestic dispute with her husband and I think we need to have a police officer come down here and talk to her," the unnamed neighbor told the dispatcher. "It's my next door neighbor and this is his wife. I think it was just a misunderstanding but we're worried he's going to come and get upset and I don't want the police to come with their lights on. I just want them to come until everybody calms down."

When questioned about the nature of Lozada's injury, the neighbor said he thought the reality television star's forehead injury might require stitches, but insisted that he did not want the authorities to make a scene in the neighborhood.

"She's got a cut on her forehead. She's probably going to need stitches," the neighbor said. "Let's just try not to make a big scene about it until the police come because we're worried that he's going to get mad and he's a high profile person."

After describing Johnson's appearance the neighbor described his role in the situation.

"He's looking for her and I just got home. I'm the next door neighbor and she was just standing here," he said. "So i brought her in and i'm trying to clean her up a little. There's no weapons it was just a verbal and he hit her with his head."

Although Lozada's muffled voice could be heard helping the neighbor answer the questions asked by the dispatcher, he stressed that he did not want Johnson to get angry at him with his son home.

"I'm just trying to calm her down I just got home from a youth football game and i don't want him to come in here and get mad at me. I've got my son," the neighbor said. "We don't know if he's home or looking for her or calmed down. She has a nice cut on the forehead that i believe is going to need stitches or those butterfly things."

After describing Johnson's vehicle and appearance, the dispatcher told the neighbor not to move Lozada.

Lozada broke her silence to TMZ recently about the situation, saying that domestic violence is not ok.

"It is my sincere hope that he seeks the help he needs to overcome his troubles," Lozada said in a TMZ report Tuesday. "Domestic violence is not okay and hopefully my taking a stand will help encourage other women to break their silence as well."
