Event: Presbyterian Historical Society Annual Seminar on Local Church HIstory

On Tuesday, October 12, The Presbyterian Historical Society announced that it will hold its 26th annual Seminar on Local Church History at the Montreat Conference Center in North Carolina next April. Designed for those who manage, preserve and write Presbyterian history, the seminar will be open to any Presbyterian interested.

During the annual seminar, slated for April 25-29, 2004, the Historical society will feature workshops on Presbyterian history, oral history, researching and writing church history, managing and conserving church records, disaster planning, exhibiting historical records and artifacts, and planning anniversary celebrations.

While the fee for attendance is $150, the Presbyterian Historical Society is offering two scholarships to waive the fee for participants representing Presbyterian churches more than 50 years old.
