The dangers of texting while driving are well documented, but the trends suggest there are never too many reminders. Researchers last year at Cohen Children's Medical Center in New Hyde Park estimated more than 3,000 teenagers die every year in the U.S. in text-related car accidents.

In Hong Kong, Volkswagen set up a creative PSA for moviegoers that had no problem getting their attention for a message about the fatal mistake texting while driving can be. Drivers everywhere would do well to see it.
