Popular Christian singer Forrest Frank is warning progressives not to “mess around with God” after viral posts celebrated the Democratic sweep in the 2026 midterms by promising to “invent new genders” and get abortions.

In a video posted on X Wednesday, Frank responded to the online commentary that followed the 2026 election, in which Democrats won control of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.

“I’m probably going to lose so many followers for this," he said. “I try and stay out of politics, but sometimes I feel it’s important to speak up."

He shared several viral posts he saw online after the election, including one from an X user who, jubilant about the results, vowed that “we’re gonna invent new genders you haven’t even imagined yet" and another stating "we are gonna trans your kids so bad."

A third featured a woman describing a post-election scenario where she “throws Amex down at the abortion clinic” and tells them to “keep the tab open.” Amex refers to the credit card company American Express.

An exasperated Frank reacted to the provocative posts.

“You don’t want to mess around with this,” he said. “Do not mess around with God. Do not mess around with the family.”

Frank shared “the final verse in the Old Testament,” which states: “He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Or else I will come and destroy the land with a curse.”

“If we lose the family, we lose everything,” he warned, urging his followers to “be activated” after the election. He called on people to “pray, discern, read your Word” and “hold your family tight.”

“Lead your family. Let’s be the soldiers that we signed up to be for the Kingdom,” he added.

Frank reminded his followers that they should “be encouraged" because God is ultimately "the victor."

“At the end of the day, every knee will bow to Jesus Christ," Frank stressed.

The caption on his post summarized his concerns: “Politics swing left and right ... but If we lose the family, we lose everything. Don’t play around with God’s children.”

The posts Frank shared reflect the fact that the Democratic Party, which has taken control of the U.S. Congress, has adopted progressive views on abortion and LGBT issues and will now have the chance to pass more laws reflecting that vision.

Even as Democrats have picked up at least 30 seats in the U.S. House and at least seven seats in the U.S. Senate, Tuesday’s results show that Americans remain skeptical of some aspects of LGBT ideology.

Specifically, unofficial results from ballot measures in Arizona, Colorado and Washington show that nearly 59% of Arizona voters supported a measure prohibiting trans-identified males from entering women’s sex-segregated spaces and competing on women’s sports teams. Colorado measures that would bar trans-identified males from women’s sports teams and prohibit gender transition surgeries for minors each have the support of about 52% of voters.

A measure prohibiting trans-identified males from competing in women’s sports currently has the support of 57% of Washington voters, although the outcome has not been determined.

On abortion, unofficial results show that a majority of voters in Nevada (63.5%) and Virginia (62.5%) approved measures establishing a right to abortion in their state constitutions. Most voters in Missouri (55.4%) rejected a measure that would have overturned a previous referendum that established a right to abortion in the state constitution and would have prohibited gender transition procedures for minors.

By contrast, most voters in Idaho (55.9%) rejected a measure that would have enshrined a right to abortion in the state constitution.
