In what is, and will remain for a long while, arguably the most contentious Presidential election in U.S. history, Donald Trump shocked the country and the world by defeating the favorite Democratic Hillary Clinton. In the election that was marred by email leaks from the Democratic Party and proof of sexual misbehavior by Trump, the Republican came out as the winner after the ballots were counted in November 2016.
