The Game of Thrones Season 4 premiere takes place on Sunday night, and fans of the HBO show are desperate to find out what happens following the Season 3 finale cliffhanger. Rumors and spoilers have been building up to tonight's premiere release date, but the new episode will finally air following a long wait. The premiere episode is titled "Two Swords" and can be watched on TV on the HBO network and will start at 9 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

Tonight's episode will reveal the aftermath of the explosive wedding reception in season 3, and creators of the show have promised a dramatic start to the new season for fans.

Spoilers have promised fans that even though many may have been left shocked by the Red Wedding, there will be no let up, and there will be more blood and brutality as the show returns for its fourth season.

In tonight's premiere episode the synopsis has said, "Tyrion welcomes a surprise guest to King's Landing for the royal wedding, but fears he's come to the Red Keep for something else."

It adds, "Meanwhile, Jon warns his skeptical Night's Watch superiors about an impending attack; Jaime struggles to regain his status at home; Arya encounters a face from her past; and Daario Naharis discusses strategy with Daenerys on the journey to the slave city Meereen."
