'Game of Thrones' Season 5 News, Spoilers: Promo Video Teases Scenes From 'The Dance of Dragons'
HBO's hugely popular TV drama series "Game of Thrones" is now nearing towards the end of its current fifth season. And while fans are still reeling over the magnificent battle scenes in last week's episode, "Hardhome," the network recently released the promo video for the upcoming episode titled "The Dance of Dragons."
The video opens up with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) approaching the Wall with the remaining wildlings on his side. Ser Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale) looks quite disappointed to know that the Lord Commander was able to return in one piece.
Jamie (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) meanwhile faces a tough decision when Prince Doran Martell (Alexander Siddig) offered him a choice of pledging his allegiance to the Dorne people or die as its traitor.
Arya (Maisie Williams) continues her training with the Many Face Gods with her new identity, "Lanna of the canals." The synopsis meanwhile teased that she will meet someone from her past.
Stannis (Stephen Dillane) remains determined to march his army towards Winterfell. His ambition to redeem himself from the tragic defeat he faced back in Blackwater will meanwhile push him in a predicament when Lady Melissandre (Carice van Houten) made it clear that she needs the blood of his daughter Shireen (Kerry Ingram) in order to destroy the warden of the North.
In the other side of the continent, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) was seen clapping her hands which signal the beginning of the fighting season in Meeren. Thousands of people were seen gathering in a coliseum to witness the bloody Roman gladiator-style battle. The last episode revealed that Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) wishes to "fight for his queen" and it could be expected that one of the fight's highlights would belong to the exiled lord.
As the episode title suggest, it is also anticipated that Daenerys' three dragons will make an appearance.
Find out more when "Game of Thrones" Season 5 episode 9 airs this Sunday, June 7, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
