General Conference Translators: Bridge to Global Communication

An international denomination, the United Methodist Church invited almost 200 foreign delegates to take part in the two-week quadrenniel General Conference, which lasts until May 7. Over 100 of those delegates made it to the Conference; some decline, many others were rejected visas. There are approximately 10 million United Methodists in the world, 8.5 of whom reside in the United States.
