Will 'Grand Theft Auto 6' Be A Gameplay Deviant?

"Grand Theft Auto 5" continues to enjoy massive success even though several years have already passed since its release. Though the game is still receiving constant updates to its online mode, gaming fans have not stopped clamoring for the development and launch of "Grand Theft Auto 6."

The upcoming "GTA 6" video game is rumored to arrive with major changes that will set it apart from the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise as a whole, making it a "gameplay deviant."

According to a report by N4BB, "GTA 6" is strongly believed to follow the same basic gaming principles as its previous game installments except for one — the game is highly anticipated to be launched in the first-person mode. This new perspective is a significant departure from the classic third-person mode the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise has been known for since "GTA 3."

Another major surprise that "GTA 6" is expected to come with is the introduction of a female protagonist. The possibility of having a female lead in the game is now believed to be very likely considering how past games have been criticized for their portrayal of women.

Some experts reportedly believe that no other major changes are expected to happen in "GTA 6." However, there are those who believe that the legal debacle between former Rockstar big wig Leslie Benzies and the company itself might cause major adjustments to future installments of the "Grand Theft Auto" game franchise.

As for when "GTA 6" will be released, Geek Reply reports a rumor that the game could be available for purchase as early as 2020. The game is expected to be released on various platforms such as the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, and it is also possible that a graphically enhanced version of the upcoming game will be launched on the PlayStation 4 Pro and the Xbox One S consoles.

Rockstar Games has remained quiet on anything related to "Grand Theft Auto 6." Official confirmation regarding the rumored video game is expected to be announced sometime in 2018 or 2019.
