Guns N' Roses Club Tour Announced with Original Lineup (VIDEO)

Guns N' Roses announced a six-date club tour spanning four cities across the Northeast.

The popular rock band form the 1980s and 1990s will make a return to the stage with three shows in New York City, one in Atlantic City, N.J., one in Chicago, Ill. and another in Silver Springs, Md.

The new shows mark a noticeable return to New York City for the band, which skipped the city altogether during its 2011 tour.

One venue, Webster Hall, was the site of an MTV taping with the band in 1988.

The shows are slated to include the original lineup of the band and coincide with the band being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.

The original lineup includes lead singer Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, guitarist Izzy Stradlin, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler.

Guns N' Roses released its first EP in 1986 and its first full-length album in 1987, titled "Appetite for Destruction."

The band became a quintessential heavy metal band, synonymous with the genre itself.

The band borrows from earlier bands, such as AC/DC and Aerosmith, but managed to create a recognizable sound that was original and set them apart from their counterparts.

Songs from the first album that quickly became anthem rock hits include "Paradise City," "Welcome to the Jungle," Sweet Child O' Mine," and "Mr. Brownstone."

The band split up after playing several years together and reformed with different members, though the original band remained a hit with fans.

The original lineup on the mini-tour marks a significant move for the band.

"We started off something; let's end the career playing together, at least once. I'd love to do a whole tour of the world," Adler told Rolling Stone. "I personally - and I know that Slash and Duff feel the same way - we owe it to the fans to do a tour around the world. We haven't performed for over 20 years, and they've stuck by us and believe in us."
