Good news await for those who are searching for a proficient but affordable smartphone. Indian handset manufacturer Intex is back in the market bringing yet another affordable Android smartphone. According to Softpedia, the company is adding another model into their Aqua Power series called the Aqua Power II. And even though it does not come with any major features, it is sure to still make some noise among the sea of smartphones.

The source revealed that the Intex Aqua Power II is now available in India and is priced at Rs 6,490, which is approximately $100. It measures 146x74x10.3mm with a weight of 152g. It sports a 5-inch IPS display with HD (720x1280) resolution. With a quad core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, the handset carries a Mali-400 graphics processing unit, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.

Users can revel in taking photos as it dons a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and video recorder, as well as 2MP front snapper and video call. The Times of India noted that the new handset will run with Android 5.1 Lollipop and it will be shipped with that operating system right out of the box. It also boasts a special kind of feature known as the "Cast Screen," which mirrors everything from an Android device onto the TV screen.

Interested buyers can choose from the available color options which are black, white and champagne. And with its 4,000mAh battery packed under the hood, users of the smartphone will have up to 15 hours of talk time and 500 hours of standby time. Looks like it's a handheld device that will really give long lastingness especially when there's no power around. Additionally, the device also includes other attention-grabbing features like an Air Shuffle and supports apps like OneDrive, Flashlight, Intex Play and many more.

No doubt that this budget smartphone will really be a good deal in the pocket without sacrificing too much. As Mobile Business head of Intex Technologies Sanjay Kumar Kalirona would say, "This new offering is better, bolder and will compete to be a true stunner, leveraging the signature product category of Intex."
