Judge Judy earns $123,000 a day, according to new reports out this weekend.

Judge Judy Sheindlin is well known across the country, as well as in various countries across the world, as a no nonsense judge who dishes out her strict judgments in court on her own TV show.

However, now the San Francisco Gate has claimed that Judge Judy rakes in a huge six-figure salary a day. The publication reports that she makes $123,000 every 24 hours, meaning she earns a huge $45 million a year. Not bad for a 70 year old!

Judge Judy's show, which debuted in 1996, has become a staple among court room reality TV followers over the years. Her show is so popular, and she is so famous, that she can demand the huge salary, according to reports.

Judge Judy reportedly passed the New York Bar exam nearly five decades ago in 1965, and she went on to become a prosecutor in the family court.

It wasn't until more than 30 years later that she began to star in her own court room show, "Judge Judy," which premiered on Sept. 16, 1996.

Her show became an immediate success with her no nonsense, quick thinking, and strict judging of tense cases brought before her, attracting millions of viewers.

The show became the number one court show since its debut, and is reportedly the only original show on American TV to increase its ratings year on year.

It has been reported that Judge Judy brings in 10 million viewers every single day, making it one of the most successful TV shows on American television of all time.

Judge Judy was married to Ronald Levy in 1964, but divorced 12 years later. She remarried again in 1977, to Judge Jerry Sheindlin, but they also divorced in 1990. However, there was to be a happy ending, as the couple reconciled and remarried the following year, going on to five children and 11 grandchildren.
