JWoww to Palin: 'Keep Your Mouth Shut' About Gay Marriage

JWoww's Palin comments are causing controversy as the "Jersey Shore" reality star weighed in on Bristol Palin's ideas about gay marriage. Palin felt that the President's "evolving" views on same-sex marriage were influenced too much by his daughters, whose friends have homosexual parents.

JWoww called Bristol Palin, daughter of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin, "uneducated" for supporting traditional marriage in a blog post following the President's surprise announcement.

"Bristol should keep her uneducated, ignorant mouth shut," tweeted the reality star. Her attack on Palin didn't end there though. She pointed out that Bristol Palin became pregnant while unmarried to her baby's father, Levi Johnston, calling her a "hypocrite."

"If you're living in the past you wouldn't have a kid without marriage. Hypocrite. It's 2012!" she added.

Despite JWoww's claims that Palin is "living in the past" for supporting biblically-based marriage, it's likely her attacks on the mother were more motivated by her close friend's homosexuality than anything else.

"My best friend will get married one day and not just have civil union with his man. Stop hating people," tweeted the "Jersey Shore" guidette.

Palin's blog post was less centered on the emotional attachment some have to traditional marriage and more on the President, whom she felt demonstrated poor leadership by basing his decisions on his daughters, Malia and Sasha, ages 13 and 10, respectively.

"While it's great to listen to your kids' ideas, there's also a time when dads simply need to be dads. In this case, it would've been helpful for him to explain to Malia and Sasha that while her friends parents are no doubt lovely people, that's not a reason to change thousands of years of thinking about marriage," wrote Palin.

"Sometimes dads should lead their family in the right ways of thinking. In this case, it would've been nice if the President would've been an actual leader and helped shape their thoughts instead of merely reflecting what many teenagers think after one too many episodes of Glee," she added.
