Kelsey Grammer had his fourth wife's name tattooed on his right hip during a recent trip to Chicago, and the ink is said to be his first.
"He was pretty cool about it. He said it was his first tattoo and he did some research and said, 'You guys seemed to be the best place to go,'" tattoo parlor owner Bob Jones told the Chicago Sun-Times.
The 57-year-old entered a tattoo parlor with his wife of almost two months, Kayte Walsh, in Chicago's Noble Square on Saturday and reportedly paid $60 for the tattoo.
"They were just normal people. We were talking about tattoos. He said, 'I'm going to get Kayte's name.' My friend asked, 'So how long have you been dating that he wanted to tattoo your name? She said, 'We are married.' I figured with his background he should just put a 'K' with a period to give him some flexibility," an onlooker told the Sun-Times.
The former "Frasier" star married Kayte on February 25, 2011, just two weeks after the finalization of his third divorce from "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Camille Donatacci.
Grammer reportedly met Walsh, a former British flight attendant, while he was still married to Donatacci, with whom he shares two children Mason, 10, and Jude, 7.
"We actually met in the air on a plane to England. It was very romantic, she was working on the plane. We went out for coffee several days later and had this magical night in the snow in London around Christmas time. It was two years ago," Grammer once said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
Donatacci, who has since moved with another man following her divorce from Grammer, has publicly accused her ex-husband of cheating with Walsh towards the end of their marriage- something he has denied.
After suffering a tragic miscarriage in 2010, Walsh, 29, and Grammer are now expecting twins, which will be the couple's first children.
