At major sporting events around the country, fans often become the main source of entertainment during breaks in the action. The cameras in arena will often find attendees holding up humorous signs or dancing in the aisles, and put them on the big screen for all to see.
One popular stunt is the "Kiss Cam," where the cameras hone in on members of the opposite sex sitting next to each other. When the pair sees themselves on the big screen, they're supposed to kiss. Sometimes it goes off without a hitch.
Sometimes not.
If the couple's not linked, they might just get a small peck on the cheek.
During Friday's hockey game between the Minnesota Gophers and the Michigan Wolverines, the Kiss Cam was searching in full force, especially so on Valentine's Day. Each camera operator trains on a couple in the crowd and waits until the producer brings them live on the big screen.
