Kris Humphries' Sister Kaela Lands Modeling Contract

Kaela Humphries, the sister of Kris Humphries, has landed a contract with Ford Models with its plus-size division.

The 29-year-old posted the news on Twitter Tuesday, writing, "So excited be working with the team @fordmodels. This is going to be a great 2012! Stay tuned."

Humphries is older than her athlete brother Kris, whose marriage to reality television star Kim Kardashian broke down after just 72 days.

"The division that brought you Crystal Renn, Ashley Graham, Candice Huffine and Marquita Pring among others is excited at the prospect of bringing this beautiful, engaging young woman to markets worldwide," said Ford in a press release.

The modeling agency added that Humphries is "a true size 16-18," and that she "will be in a league of her own."

Ford Models is not the first to show an interest in Humphries; she made her runway debut last fall in the Richie Rich show at New York Fashion Week.

She has also reached thousands of viewers by appearing on "Kim and Kourtney Take New York" and on CW's semi-reality show "Remodeled."

Co-star to Humphries and modeling agent on "Remodeled" Paul Fisher said he "can't stand" the word plus-sized.

"There's a word that I can't stand [in] this world, 'plus-size' model," Fisher told ZapZit in January. The agent went on to describe Humphries.

"Kaela, they call her a plus-size model. I don't even know what this word plus means. She's normal. She's perfect. She's beautiful."

With her modeling career underway, Humphries continues to support her little brother. The 27-year-old NBA star signed a one-year, $8 million contract with the New Jersey Nets on Dec. 21, 2011.

Kaela and Kris Humphries have another sibling, sister Krystal.

In December, Humphries filed a response to Kardashian's divorce petition, requesting an annulment on the grounds of fraud or a decree of legal separation, rather than Kardashian's requested divorce.
