Kris Jenner Reveals Why Bruce Jenner Didn't Attend Her Birthday Gathering

Kris Jenner is opening up about why her estranged husband and Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner did not attend her 58th birthday dinner despite reports that the pair are remaining close.

Bruce and Kris, the matriarch of the infamous Kardashian clan that appears on "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," announced their split after 22 years of marriage last month. Kris revealed why he did not attend her birthday gathering even though she invited him.

"Bruce was in Las Vegas working on an electronics type thing that they did, him and Brandon and I think Burt, for a car that they were racing," Kris revealed to E! News recently. "They've been racing cars lately, which is one of his passions, so yes he was invited and I'm sorry you couldn't come, Bruce. You would've had a really good time."

Still, she made it clear that the pair were still good friends who kept in touch with one another.

"He called me this morning to see if I could help him get a haircut," Kris told E! News Thursday.

The pair officially announced their separation in a joint statement last month.

"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," the Jenners said in a joint statement to E! News. "But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."

Still, Bruce has insisted that he is not ready to enter the dating world just yet.

"No! We're not going there. I have my family, I have my kids," Jenner told People magazine. "All my time is filled."

Kris also echoed Bruce's sentiments.

"We're actually really good. Bruce and I are best friends and we actually have a lot of mutual love and respect for one another," Jenner told Entertainment Tonight previously. "… So I think that when you read into a lot of the rubbish that's being printed and on the internet and on the tabloids it's just crap. Nobody knows what's going on except Bruce or [myself] but we're just fabulous."
