Kristen Stewart Ignores New Advances Made by Rupert Sanders?
Kristen Stewart is reportedly ignoring new advances being made by her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders just months after their infamous tryst, according to reports.
The 22-year-old actress, who is said to be having problems with on-and-off boyfriend Robert Pattinson, has allegedly received inappropriate text messages from the 41-year-old father of two. Sanders, whose wife Liberty Ross filed for divorce in January, was caught with Stewart in 2012, which ultimately ruined his marriage.
"Rupert's reached out to Kristen, but she doesn't want anything to do with him," a source told RadarOnline.com. "He texted her a number of times after Liberty filed for divorce, however Kristen didn't respond."
In July, Stewart admitted to cheating on Pattinson, her boyfriend of three years, with Sanders, who was "happily" married at the time. The pair took time out and months later reconciled, although Pattinson, 26, reportedly continues to have trust issues.
"In truth, she regrets ever getting involved with Rupert, because of how much it hurt Robert and the amount of public backlash she was subjected to," the source said.
Die-hard "Twilight" fans were outraged and lashed out at Stewart over the cheating scandal. Critics, including real estate tycoon Donald Trump, publicly warned Pattinson not to forgive the actress after photos of her embracing Sanders went viral.
"Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again--just watch. He can do much better!" Trump tweeted on Oct. 18.
Pattinson, who is currently in Australia filming a movie, has reportedly requested time out again in his relationship with Stewart. The actor has understandably had difficulty moving past the cheating.
"He loves her but would rather go back to being good friends so they can rebuild their trust and focus on work after Twilight," a source told The Sun U.K.
"Kristen's upset but understands. She shouldn't have pushed him to reconcile after her infidelity. She's hoping he'll come round and time will be a great healer," the source continued.
Despite reportedly being left in "limbo" by Pattinson, Stewart is not interested in Sanders, with the source explaining "that ship has sailed."
