Language Program Connects Brazilian Students Learning English With Lonely American Retirees (VIDEO)

The CNA English School and ad agency FCB Brasil came up with what seems like the best possible way to find native English speakers for Brazilian students learning the language. They created the Speaking Exchange project, an online tool that allows students to video chat with elderly Americans in retirement homes. The sessions are recorded and reviewed by language teachers.

The students practice their English, the lonely Americans make friends and they all learn something about other cultures and being human. Watch the heartwarming connections made, and don't be surprised if your eyes are wellling up by the end.
