Left 4 Dead 3 Game News: Upcoming Game Would Be Prequel-Sequel Of Previous Installment

The "Left 4 Dead" franchise is only one of Valve's most popular first-person shooter games. And while it is in the same genre as "Half Life," its take on a zombie apocalypse is definitely commendable.

For fans of the game who have been waiting for the next installment, a report claims that an ex-Valve employee has leaked out the release dates for the upcoming first-person zombie multiplayer shooter.

According to the report by Master Herald, "Left 4 Dead 3" may hit stores late next year or early 2017. In the report, the next game for the zombie shooter will apparently be released ahead of "Half Life 3," which is rumored to become available near the end of 2017 or early 2018.

So what can fans expect for the upcoming "Left 4 Dead 3" game? In the report, the upcoming title is said to be a "prequel-sequel" of the latest version, which is "Left 4 Dead 2." In the report, the game takes place roughly a month after the zombie outbreak began.

There will be six campaigns for the game as mentioned in the report. These are Crash-land, Impasse, Inquisitor Land, Early Destination, Cliff-Hanger and No Mercy'. In addition, "Left 4 Dead 3" would introduce four new survivors which are playable either by single or multiplayer.

According to the Master Herald report, there are four characters in the game - three men and a woman. Katherine is the only female in the group and is a 24-year-old Caucasian. The three men are a gangster named Irvin, a comic book nerd named Keenan, and a famous Kenpo fighter in the "Left 4 Dead" franchise named Garrett Jr.

Valve's success has continued over the past years, and it definitely flourishes in multiplayer games that offer some in-game purchases. Due to its success, the report indicated that it would most likely be able to release more updates of its popular titles in the coming years.
