Lenovo Vibe X3 Arrives in China in Three Different Variants, Specs Include 5.5-Inch HD Display, Hi-fi 3.0

At long last, the Lenovo Vibe X3 has finally been unveiled in China. According to GSM Arena, the successor to the multi-layer Vibe X2 has not arrived with only one variant but three variants. All three smartphones carry the same name but two of the devices are considered almost twins while the other one is tweaked a bit to keep the price lower.

Ubergizmo detailed that all of the models sport 5.5-inch 1080p displays with Full HD resolution. It's also said to be covered with Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. The two higher-end models will have under its hood a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset. The only difference between the two is that one will carry 64 GB of internal storage while the other one will have a capacity of 32 GB. Both phones will carry a microSD card slot though for further expansion.

The two variants will also come with 3 GB of RAM and a 23-megapixel rear camera along with 8-megapixel front camera. The rear camera will utilize a Sony IMX230 sensor with phase detection autofocus and 4K video recording. Giving them power and life is a 3,600mAh battery with Qualcomm's QuickCharge 2.0 tech. They also support dual-SIM and 4G.

Meanwhile, the third variant, which is known as "Youth," comes with downgraded specs as it is considered to be a budget-friendly smartphone. Phone Arena reported that it will have an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with only 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. It's also expandable via microSD card slot. The primary camera is set with 16 megapixels while the selfie snapper is 5 megapixels. Its battery capacity is 3,400mAh.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 puts emphasis on great audio experience. This is why all of the versions are equipped with a Cirrus Logic WM8281 codec for noise and echo cancellation, Texas Instruments OPA1612 amplifier and a high-end Hi-Fi 3.0 sound system with Sabre 9018C2M DAC. It also has Dolby Atmos certification.

The 64 GB model is priced at $470 while the 32 GB model costs $390. The "Youth" version comes with a price tag of $300.
