Logan Paul talks Christianity, Pokémon prayer, Jesus and feeling God wrath

4. 'I defamed Jesus and God, and I felt His wrath'

During a 2020 episode of the "IMPAULSIVE" podcast, Logan Paul said he believed in a Creator but described himself as “not overly religious.”

“I think there’s some sort of unimaginable thing that made us in this universe and everything around us. But like I said, I don't know if he's as active as faith would tell you,” the YouTuber stated.

In a separate "IMPAULSIVE" episode in December 2022, Paul pressed podcaster George Janko about his Christian faith. At one point during the conversation, Paul told Janko that he “needed a therapist because Jesus isn't doing it for [him],” adding that the podcaster wasn’t as “emotionally mature” as he could be.

The social media personality released a follow-up video a few weeks later to apologize for his comments to Janko.

"I said some pretty out-of-line comments to George about George's beliefs," Paul said. "The last three weeks have been the hardest period of my f—ing life. Ironically, I defamed Jesus and God, and I felt His wrath."
