Major Recall for Lean Cuisine Meals

WASHINGTON – It's not a bad idea to spend an extra 20 minutes cooking dinner for the family after work rather than resorting to frozen foods, especially as a major recall was made to popular frozen meals today.

Nestle Prepared Food Company announced on Tuesday a recall on three of its Lean Cuisine entrees that may contain small pieces of hard plastic that could cause injury. The products were categorized as a high health risk by the USDA.

Items under the recall are: Lean Cuisine Pesto Chicken with Bow Tie Pasta, Lean Cuisine Chicken Mediterranean and Lean Cuisine Chicken Tuscan, all produced from August 18 to October 27.

So far there have been multiple consumer complaints and a report of one injury.
