'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Season 2 News, Spoilers: Skye Torn Between S.H.I.E.L.D. and Inhumans in 'Scars'

ABC's hit crime-fighting TV drama series "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." is nearly closing its second season but the action and suspense never seem to slow down.

This week's upcoming episode titled "Scars," spoiler reports indicated that Skye (Chloe Bennett) will be struggling as she is torn between her loyalty to Coulson's S.H.I.E.L.D. and her connections with the Inhumans, a synopsis posted on Hollywood Hills reads.

According to the publication, the tension rising between the two groups will escalate into a war. Avid followers of the action series may already have known how the two factions differ in terms of priorities. Of course, a confrontation between them is a thing that is already expected.

A report from Ecumenical News cited International Business Times saying that the rift may have been brought down due to Gonzales' plans of taking Skye and Lincoln as hostages.

The publication went on to cite a promotional video for the upcoming segment showing Gordon saving the two Inhumans from the clutches of their captors and bringing them back to Afterlife.

Gonzales is now hell-bent to get the two back and this will ultimately result to war.

According further to spoiler reports, the war will also uncover some secrets. The Futon Critic stated that Coulson (Paul Gregg) will "reveal a secret he's been hiding from even those close to him."

Followers of the show were quick to speculate that this secret may point out to the Theta protocol which has been teased in the current season.

To find out what it really is, tune in to "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." Season 2 tonight on ABC.
