'NCIS' Season 13 Episode 8 Spoilers: DiNozzo Spends Time With An Ex-Flame Amidst Trouble In Sudan
It will get a bit awkward, and at the same time, intense, for the part of Agent Anthony DiNozzo when the 13th season of CBS' hit crime drama TV series "NCIS" returns this week with a brand new episode titled "Saviors."
According to the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic, the special agent's girlfriend in the fourth season of the series, Jeanne Benoit, will appear in the upcoming episode. The two will be reunited when an insurgent attack in Sudan affects a group of volunteer doctors. Tony's ex-girlfriend's husband is among those medical personnel who are in danger.
The promo video shared over at Design and Trend suggested that the two ex-lovers will attempt to do the rescue mission together in Sudan. Fortunately, Agent Tim McGee will also be there with them to investigate the joint murder and kidnapping case. Perhaps his presence will somehow ease the tension.
Scenes that followed shows just how dangerous the path they're about to take is as the insurgents seem to be at ease inflicting harm to their victims, not to mention killing them, as well.
In an interview with TVLine, executive producer Gary Glasberg said that this episode is expected to touch on "all kinds of Tony DiNozzo folklore that we haven't touched on in ages."
D&T added that this episode will also reveal Gibbs going through some physical difficulties that was probably caused by the surgery he got after he was shot towards the end of Season 12.
The report particularly pointed out the incident wherein the agent falls down. In connection, Dr. Cyril Taft, the surgeon who operated on Gibbs in the Season 13 premiere, will reappear to look on the condition of the ailing operative.
Find out how these events unfold when "NCIS" Season 13 airs this Tuesday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
