NeNe Leakes of Real Housewives of Atlanta Does Not Condone Violence

NeNe Leakes, the "Real Housewives of Altanta" star wants to make it clear that she does not condone violence.

Kenya Moore Moore, the 43-year-old former beauty queen was allegedly assaulted by Porsha Williams, 32, after the former reportedly continued to mock the latter's public divorce from former NFL player Kordell Stewart on the Bravo TV show. After sources like Radar Online, Us Weekly and TMZ shared the news complete with accounts of what took place from anonymous witnesses, news surfaced that the show's stars refused to sign new contracts if Williams was booted.

While Leakes has denied those claims, she has also insisted that she does not condone violence.

"I don't condone violence. I do condone a little reading…talk a little trash, but you need to keep your hands to yourself," Leakes told VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live." "They welcome a good argument. That's always good television, but to touch each other really crosses the line."

Marlo Hampton first appeared on the series during its fourth season and did not return for the fifth. Although she has made a few appearances during the sixth season, it has mostly been to support the show's former beauty queen Moore.

While Hampton told "The Ryan Cameron Morning Show" that she was unsure of Williams' status on the show, she also believed that Bravo executives wouldn't be too happy with violence occurring on the series.

"I didn't hear that, but I know definitely Bravo isn't excited about violence," she said on the radio show earlier this month. "I think something will come of it. I really think so and I know definitely Kenya will not be going anywhere."

Leakes, a friend of Williams and rival to Moore, took to Twitter after the alleged brawl took place.

"Love u ‪@Porsha4real‬," Leakes tweeted in support of her friend.
