Apple's iPhone 5 to Feature Upgraded 8-MP Camera

The new iPhone 5 will look similar to its predecessor, the iPhone 4.

Apple is in the works to launch the newest version of the iPhone, powered by an A5 processor, by September according to Bloomberg, and with regards to its design, don't expect drastic changes compared to its last model the news outlet informed citing "two people familiar with the product."

The new iPhone which will also run Apple's newest mobile operating system, the iOS 5, yet to be released is also gearing up on its camera which will feature a resolution of 8-megapixels up from 5-megapixels on the iPhone 4.

To the surprise of many, Bloomberg also informed that Apple was working in its next iPad, the iPad 3, with an even higher resolution and a faster processor. Although no launch date was mentioned, the CLSA informed the Wall Street Journal that it might hit store shelves just before the end of the year, right around Christmas.

The iPhone 4, launched on June 24, 2010 features an Apple A4 processor, 16 or 32 GB storage capacity, 512 MB eDram, and a 640 x 960 pixel resolution.
