New Way Ministries Founder Speaks on Relational Prayer at CCU
The founder and president of New Way Ministries spoke in chapel last Tuesday and Thursday at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colo.
A distinguished scholar in residence at CCU, Dr. Larry Crabb focused his message on relational prayer, encouraging students, faculty, and staff to go beyond using prayer as a means to make requests to God and to develop deeper intimacy with God.
Until relational prayer becomes the exact center of your life, you will not know what power in prayer is all about, Crabb pointed out during his message, according to CCU.
In addition to being a well-known speaker, Crabb is also author of numerous best-selling books, including Soul Talk, Inside Out, and Shattered Dreams.
Prior to his work with New Way Ministries, Crabb practiced psychotherapy and directed the masters programs in biblical counseling at Colorado Christian University and Grace Theological Seminary. He was granted the Pioneer in Christian Psychology award from the American Association of Christian Counselors and now serves as spiritual director of that organization.
Crabb received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Illinois.
