Saitama Expected to Receive Appearance Change, Skill Additions For Season 2 Of One-Punch Man

New things are on the horizon for Saitama, the titular hero of the Japanese anime series "One-Punch Man." The second season is expected to feature a makeover for the superhero, as well as several additions to his already impressive skill set.

There has been a lot of talk concerning the upcoming season of "One-Punch Man." Apart from its widely speculated release date, it is also expected that Saitama will undergo a wardrobe change when the new season debuts. Fans of the series know that Saitama is known for his bald head and yellow suit, but that may soon change. It is believed that Saitama will be trading in his old suit for a new one, and that he may also get some hair - or a wig - in the new season.

Those are not the only things changing for Saitama, appearance-wise. There is also some belief that he will have a more expressive face in the upcoming season, as manga creator Yusuke Murata may opt to draw him this way. It is unknown how fans will react to these changes, especially since the One-Punch hero has come to be recognized for those very features.

However, fans will surely love seeing Saitama showcase some new skills - and he is going to need them too, considering the amount of villains that are expected to go after him in season 2. It was previously reported that Bang's former student, Garou, will be challenging Saitama. Garou wants to show everyone just how capable he is, and there is no better way than to take on the undefeated hero.

Apart from Garou, two ex-members of the Hero Association - Amai Mask and Dr. Bofoi - are also rumored to cross over to the evil side. Amai Mask is power-hungry and is believed to know the secret to Saitama's capabilities, thus he will want to take the power for himself. Dr. Bofoi's motive, on the other hand, is more centered on revenge than anything else.

A release date has yet to be officially announced, although "One-Punch Man" is expected to premiere in either mid-2017 or 2018.
