4 highlights from Peter Thiel’s leaked ‘Antichrist’ lectures: From Revelation 13 to Bill Gates
4. Bill Gates and ‘wannabe anti-Christs’
In a lighter moment, Thiel reportedly shared an anecdote about being asked to tell folks in Silicon Valley that Microsoft founder Bill Gates could be an anti-Christ figure.
“One of my friends was telling me that I should not pass up on the opportunity to tell those people in San Francisco that Bill Gates is the Antichrist,” said Thiel. “I will concede that he is certainly a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-type character.
He recalled his own experience of seeing the “Mr. Hyde version” of Gates, one whom, he said, was “just a nonstop Tourette’s [syndrome], yelling swear words, almost incomprehensible what was going on.”
Thiel stopped short, however, of crowning Gates as the satanic adversary of the Bible. “Certainly, of course, there are a lot of people who are wannabe anti-Christs,” he said. “They sort of want peace and safety. [Gates] definitely wants a Nobel Peace Prize. He would give his soul for that, no question about it.”
