Photo: Switchfoot Receives "The Next Big Thing" Award from Fuse tv

Switchfoot is paving the way between Christian artists and the secular world as their impact in mainstream music strengthens. The band's music video has been shown on Much Music USA's "Oven Fresh" and MTV2's "Rock Show". Fuse tv named Switchfoot "The Next Big Thing" for the month of October. Switchfoot also won "Best Pop Album" and "Artist of the Year" awards at the San Diego Music Awards for their latest release, The Beautiful Letdown.

As of December 26, 2003, the single "Meant to Live" is at No. 6 on the Modern rock chart, surpassing secular hits such as Puddle of Mudd and Hoobastank.
