'Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire' Update: Fans Treated To New 3DS Themes; Pikachu Event Next Month

A recent report has revealed that "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" has received two fresh 3DS themes and that a Pikachu Event has been announced that is scheduled for next month.

Serebii, a site that provides reliable source of Pokemon-related news, has reported that "Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" has received two new 3DS themes. The brand-new themes were released in Japan. They are available for 200 yen or less than $2 each.

The first theme is called "Pokemon: Poke Create & Kokeshi Dolls." This new theme features various dolls, along with Sushi High-Roller music.

The second theme is called "Pokemon: Peeking Pokemon Friends." In this new theme, players can see two views of a Pokemon as they scroll down. The first one is "Pokemon Black & White" accompanied by Dressing Up music. The second view is the "PokeKyun Collection" that features bouncing images of some Pokemon. This view is accompanied by the Friends Theme: "Reunited" music from "Pokemon X & Y."

Serebii has also mentioned that these two themes will be available to Europe this week.

Serebii also reported that a new event will be held in Japan. This event is a tie-in with Pokemon With You campaign celebration, where participants will be given a special Pikachu (Level 99) with a Souvenir Ribbon and a Rare Candy. It will also include Happy Hour, Play Nice, Hold Hands & Flash moves. The Pikachu is also going to be distributed in Fukushima this weekend. The Pikachu Event will be held at the Pokemon Center Tohoku in Japan on Jan. 2 to Jan. 11.

"Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire" is an RPG game that was released to the Nintendo 3DS last month.
