Retro Flash Mob by US Air Force Stuns Crowd at Busy D.C.'s Union Station (VIDEO)

By now, oh modern American, you have probably seen your share of flash mobs. You know, when a bunch of people in a public space suddenly stop what they're doing and break into song or something?

I bet you've never seen the United States Air Force band do a flash mob, least of all one with holiday cheer and a throwback aura.

Well, fear not! For the USAF has done just that and made it available for view on YouTube as of Dec. 4 of this year.

At Washington, D.C.'s Union Station, a place where large numbers of people come and go on metro and train, the USAF made a musical impact.

Their impromptu concert, complete with a variety of instruments and some 1940s style dancers, caught the attention of throngs of holiday travelers.

A goal of the flashback concert was to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the official end to the Second World War, hence the retro vibe from the entertainment.

Uploaded to YouTube by the USAF band itself on Dec. 4, the video of the flashback flash mob has gotten 715,000+ views and 2,600+ likes.
