Word Films has released the multi-award winning film "Rogue Saints" on DVD Tuesday.

Starring John Wu and Jason Pead as Nick and Dylan, the story follows the friends on the greatest church diamond heist while tying in romance, comedy, drama, and adventure.

When the duo is down on their luck, Nick and Dylan disguise their intentions to steal an enormous diamond from the basement of a church by volunteering there. After a short while, the pair grows closer to the quirky, loving members of the church, and experience a change of heart.

The faith-based comedy marks the directorial debut of Adam Lubanski, who served as the interactive graphics designer for films including "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "Charlie's Angels."

"We're really excited to be releasing Rogue Saints," said Lubanski in a press release. "The message about God's community is very close to my heart and has really resonated with the churches and people that have seen it. It's a fun, engaging story that makes people laugh too."

The director explained the importance of delivering entertainment that also includes a message in his work, and said that "Rogue Saints" achieved this.

"It's been a long journey to the screen but the reaction has been great," he continued. "I can't wait to see what happens with the movie next."

Following its release at film festivals and during reviews worldwide, "Rogue Saints" has earned honors such as the Taff Family Award during the 2012 Attic Film Fest, which recognizes the best in Christian Independent Films.

The film was also an official Selection at Gideon Film Festival, Projecting Hope, The Indie Fest and Kingdom Wood.

Moreover, "Rogue Saints" was given the Dove "Family-Approved" Seal for all ages.

"Rogue Saints" is sold at Walmart, Amazon.com, and many other retailers for as low as $15.

Reviews from Amazon customers included Barbara's, who wrote, "Rogue Saints was a movie worth my time. This 1 hour and 47 min. film was full of adventure, comedy, and to the heart story line. It made me laugh and cry. A movie the entire family can watch together."
