Ron Paul Internet Ad Blasts Newt Gingrich, Paints Candidate as Serial Hypocrite (VIDEO)

A new Internet advertisement by Ron Paul depicts Newt Gingrich as a serial hypocrite.

The online video, which lasts about two and a half minutes, will not be released on television, but will be released “to a far-reaching e-mail list of conservative voters nationally, including in key early voting states.”

Some questionable conservative stances were Gingrich’s position on climate change with Nancy Pelosi, and the labeling of Paul Ryan’s Medicare bill as “right-wing social engineering,” in which he supported the government bailout.

It also highlights how Gingrich had a profitable contract with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and how he lobbied for health care groups that supported the individual mandate of the health care reform bill.

Towards the end of it, clips of Joan Walsh and Rush Limbaugh are seen blasting Gingrich for constantly flip-flopping.

The ad ultimately ends with the narration: “Radically different positions... what will you tell us next?”

According to ABC News, Paul’s Campaign Chairperson Jesse Benton said in a statement that the video was meant to “debunk the myth that the Newt we are seeing on the 2012 campaign trail is the conservative he has been touted to be all along.”
