Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Specs Rumors: Alleged S Pen Accessory for the Next-Gen Phablet Surfaces

Yet another update for Samsung's upcoming next-gen phablet, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, surfaces this week. This time it shows what appears to be its signature accessory – the S-Pen.

GSM Arena cited the report from AndroidGuys.com saying that a slew of alleged live photos of the phablet's pen device were making the rounds online as of late.

What captures the attention of the public about the new tool is that unlike its predecessors, the new version features a head that appears to be clickable. It seems that the part could be used to hide and reveal the top of the pen.

Other than that, the S-Pen also showcased the recognizable side button which is utilized to activate a host of functions.

Meanwhile, a specs rumor from last week spotted some details posted on the FAQ page of Samsung's official website. It said that the Note 4 successor is expected to arrive with the LPDDR4-type RAM which will see the device rocking a 4GB of RAM.

Further "confirmed" by the report is that the smartphone, codenamed "Project Noble," will house an Exynos 7422 processor which is touted as the company's first "true single-chip solution," the chipset will see the integration of a 64-bit octa core CPU, GPU, RAM, storage, as well as the homegrown Shannon 333 LTE modem.

The flagship device is also known by the insiders to likely hit the market with a 5.67-inch Super AMOLED QHD touchscreen and an Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS installed out-of-the-box.
