San Antonio Spurs NBA Trade Rumors: Euro Team Rooting for Aron Baynes

NBA Champion San Antonio Spurs proved last season that team-oriented playing style is the true crucial factors in winning a game. But that team lineup is threatened to be changed as there are recent news circulating that Aron Baynes might be playing next season with a Euro team.

According to reports, the big man from Australia did want to stay with the defending team but he is at the same time considering other deals that could bring more money to his pocket.

"Aron Baynes wants to stay with the Spurs, but is also exploring options for a better deal in Europe," NTV SPOR Sportscaster, Ismael Senol posted on his Twitter.

According to Bloguin, there's already one roster spot left for Spurs to fill in and the team isn't seemed to be in any rush to re-sign Baynes.

During the past 2013-14 season, the 27-year-old center averaged 3 points, 2.7 rebounds, with 43 percent shooting range.

Rantsports said that although Bayne can be effectively utilized when major players like Tim Duncan, Tiago Splitter, or Boris Diaw were out or facing foul troubles, he is "certainly not an integral part of the Spur's plan."

They further added that while his imposing presence can prove useful under the ring, he is still weak in other skill aspects, unlike the three mentioned above.

Other sources indicated that it could be a good move for Bayne's career if he will opt for greener pastures and leave San Antonio. Other circumstances that might push Aron to sign the foreign deal is the fact that he is recently married and that could mean for him to take a more profitable option.

There are still no official statements from San Antonio Spurs regarding this issue.
