Scarlett Johansson Leaked Photos 2011: Star to Sue as 50 Celebrities Targeted in Picture Scandal
“Lost in Translation” star Scarlett Johansson has called FBI agents to investigate how photos she had taken of herself with her mobile phone, had been leaked onto the internet yesterday.
The 26-year old star appears to be the latest victim of a phone-hacking ring which is allegedly responsible for victimizing at least 50 female celebrities.
The phone-hackings have been linked to a group called Anonymous, which boasts of targeting celebrities. Phones and emails of Hollywood actresses Jessica Alba, Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, Christina Aguilera, Mila Kunis and Miley Cyrus have been targeted by the gang.
Gossip website TMZ has reported that Johansson called the FBI about the leaks and criminal acts. She has not revealed why she had taken the pictures of herself.
The actress is currently filming “The Avengers” with actors Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr.
Her spokesman has not commented on the issue yet.
Johansson has threatened to sue anyone who publishes the nude photos.
Her lawyer Marty Singer is reported to have warned various websites in a letter stating: “The highly personal and private photographs at issue capture our client self-posing in her own home in a state of undress and/or topless. If you fail to comply, you will be acting at your own peril. Please govern yourselves accordingly.”
