Stacie Orrico Receives "Artist of the Year" Award

Singer-songwriter Stacie Orrico was named “Artist of the Year,” by The Rock Across Australia (TRAA), a weekly Christian music chart, who also awarded her hit single "(There's Gotta Be) More to Life” as “Song of the Year” for spending 13 consecutive weeks at #1.

Her other hit song “Stuck” and “Security” has also spent time as #1 on TRAA’s charts.

Facing GRAMMY fever, Orrico’s self-titled album has been nominated for a Grammy Award in the “Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album” category. With album sales nearing 2 million, Stacie Orrico has been certified gold in the US.

"I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to pursue my musical dream. The support I have received from my label, radio, the media and the fans is so gratifying for me,” Orrico said.
