Angela Bennett had the toys all picked out for her two granddaughters, and it was just a matter of paying for them. She put the gifts on layaway at a Walmart in Middletown, Ken. until she could save the money to pay for them. But that day never came, and she regretfully told the store they should put the toys back on the shelves.

However, it was too late. As an act of Christmas kindness, a stranger had paid the layaway balance for the gifts.
