'Street Fighter 5' DLC: New Sporty Costumes Confirmed but More Content Is Coming Per a New Leak

Brand-new downloadable content (DLC) is coming to "Street Fighter 5" as Capcom has announced a batch of new sports costumes for three of the characters from the roster.

Kolin, Zangief, and Karin will get to don some traditional sporting outfits. Karin is unleashing her inner equestrian with the costume she is getting while Kolin gets to sport an ice-skating getup while brawling it out. Zangief, on the other hand, is made to look more redoubtable with his menacing armor.

These new "Street Fighter 5" costumes will be added today, Oct. 24. No pricing has been revealed yet, but if previous clothing content to the game is anything to go by, they could go for $4 each.

The DLC will be released along with Zeku, the latest and final character set to be added in "Street Fighter 5" to complete the Season 2 lineup.

These will not the only content to expect in the game. YouTuber X-Kira via Event Hubs has discovered that more costumes for other characters will be released as well.

It turns out that there will be a total of 31 costumes that will be rolled out for 19 of the characters such as Balrog, Birdie, Karin and Chun-Li in the "Street Fighter 5" roster, many of which will take fans back to the early days of the fighting game franchise.

The new content will be nostalgia themed and will allow for some of the fighters to return to their classic looks, which means a rotund Birdie could be on the way soon.

Other characters set to get new outfits in "Street Fighter 5" include Ryu, Bison, Ken, Laura, Nash, Vega, Mika, Rashid, Cammy, Guile, Alex, Akuma and Menat. Chun-Li appears to be getting a lot more than them though.

At the moment, nothing has been made official, but the fact that the sporty costumes, which X-Kira also managed to dig up, have already been announced, it is possible that the rest of the information provided by the YouTuber is accurate.

When the remaining content will hit "Street Fighter 5," however, remains to be seen at this time.
