Taco Bell Breakfast Arrives Today, Offers Ignite Twitter Reactions

Taco Bell expanded their menu to include breakfast options starting on Thursday, March 27, and Twitter was flooded with reactions.

The famed fast food chain is now offering breakfast foods such as the widely promoted Waffle Taco filled with scrambled eggs, cheese, syrup, and bacon or sausage and the A.M. Crunchwrap, which is an entire hash-brown patty, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and bacon, sausage or steak wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and grilled. As a result, Taco Bell became a trending topic on Twitter today with thousands of users sounding off on the breakfast items with mixed reviews.

"The AM crunch wrap is the big winner from the @TacoBell breakfast menu," Mikey posted. "Everything is good though."

Hash browns, coffee and orange juice is also available at Taco Bell. Breakfast is being served at most of Taco Bell's 6,000 restaurants nationwide from 7 to 11 a.m.

The fast food chain launched a breakfast campaign in order to stay competitive in the food market and attract more patrons. Taco Bell aims to add 2,000 restaurants by 2022, according to Business Week. Taco Bell is the latest fast food chain to expand their menu.
