Taylor Swift Surprises Fans With Christmas Presents

Taylor Swift surprised her fans over the holiday season with some personalized gift packages. In a newly released YouTube video, the 'Shake it Off' singer showed how she wrapped each gift and even penned notes to each one.

A caption explained that Swift did some "Tay-lurking, whereupon every detail of a fan's likes, job, whereabouts was studied intently."

Afterwards, "a single Santa emoji would appear on their socials and large FedEx boxes began to appear in what fans tenderly called Swiftmas."

The pop star documented everything on video, from wrapping presents to placing them in FedEx boxes. The video also shows what happened when fans received the boxes, and one lucky fan even got a visit from Swift herself. She gave the woman a mini-motorized car for her little boy.

Many were brought to tears upon the arrival of the boxes, and some got even more emotional while reading Swift's note.

Swift has been known to interact with her fans in special ways. Shortly before the release of her recent "1989" album, she invited fans to listening parties in several cities. A group of fans were also featured in her "Shake it Off" video.

2014 was a great year for the singer, which saw the release of her 1989 album which was ultimately named the best-selling album of the year by Billboard. She was also named Most Charitable Celebrity by DoSomething.org for supporting feminist causes, education, and more.

The New York Daily News reported that Swift announced that all proceeds from her single, "Welcome to New York" would be given to the public school system during an October appearance on "The View." The singer has also supported Feeding America, UNICEF, and Habitat for Humanity. She has also donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross to help victims of a 2008 flood in Iowa.
