Cell phones and other modern communication technology have made everyone closer than ever before. With the ability to text message and video chat with one another we are able to communicate as if we are side by side.

But, it's often at the expense of really being close to the people we love. A new father learns a life lesson when his baby starts to cry and nothing on the phone helps. Not even seeing his mother on FaceTime.
