'The Real Housewives of Potomac' Cast Did Not Know Title of Reality Show Until They Finished Filming
"The Real Housewives of Potomac" (RHOP) has just premiered and there are already secrets being spilled, and the first one is the cast's confession that they had no idea about the title of the reality show until after they have finished filming.
When "The Real Housewives of Potomac" premiered on Jan. 17, viewers got their first look at Gizelle Bryant, Charisse Jackson Jordan, Karen Huber, Robyn Dixon, and Ashley Darby. The five cast members also shared their thoughts on the new reality show in an interview with Entertainment Tonight (ET).
In the said interview, the five ladies were asked by the ET host about the exact time they found out they were shooting "The Real Housewives of Potomac."
"The day you found out, we found out, Robyn told ET. "I don't think I could move for, like four hours … I was a little paralyzed.
Charisse shared that they were informed about the title during a conference call. Gizelle said they did not have a title when they began filming, and Bravo only broke the news to them in November, the report relays.
During the premiere of the Bravo spin-off, the viewers were immediately entertained by the shade-throwing and feuds among the ladies. The introductory episode has served to keep the audience hooked to find out what will happen next to the cast, ABC News reports.
One of the highlights of RHOP's premiere episode was Karen's obsession with etiquette. Gizelle got an earful of lecture from her during a birthday dinner held at the Sax Lounge in D.C., the report details.
Another interesting revelation came from RHOP star Robyn Dixon, who said she still sleeps in the same house and on the same bed with her ex-husband Juan Dixon. While her setup with the former NBA player left some confused, she explained that their unique arrangement is what works for them and their two children. Because they have been together since high school, living in the same house even after a divorce feels like a natural thing for them, she shared.
"The Real Housewives of Potomac" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
