'The Walking Dead' Game News, Update: Telltale Games Announces A Michonne-Centered Game

While fans of the post-apocalyptic universe by Robert Kirkman and artist Tony Moore await for the return of the comic series as well as its TV adaptation, "The Walking Dead" Season 6 and the premiere of the companion show, "Fear the Walking Dead," they may still get the chance to immerse themselves through the new Telltale Games title which was recently announced.

The said game publisher has already been successful in bringing out two TWD games and just this week, during the recent E3 event, a new miniseries called "The Walking Dead: Michonne" was unveiled.

As clearly suggested in the subtitle, the new game will focus on the adventures of the katana-wielding survivor, Michonne, who was played in the main TV series by Danai Gurira.

The story, according to the report from ScreenRant.com, will highlight Michonne's adventures which took place "between The Walking Dead #126 and #139." Right after she got separated from Rick and company, it was revealed that Michonne and her group "set sail and spent some time out at sea."

"Telltale's game will reveal what happened to Michonne while she was missing from the pages of the comic series and what made her return," the site wrote.

Just like the other Telltale games, players will find themselves choosing Michonne's responses in conversations and reactions in certain situations.

"The Walking Dead: Michonne – A Telltale Games Mini-Series" will be available this fall on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC/Mac, as well as on iOS and Android devices.
